Contaminate Mitigation
During our annual testing of our drywells and catch basins, it was brought to our attention that we have high levels of fecal coliform(bacteria) found in our storm drains. Our levels are way above the state allotment. It has been determined this is from wildlife. To mitigate this, we have been asked by the engineers overseeing our stormwater management plan to please make sure lids are closed on garbage cans, and we aren’t feeding wildlife (i.e. putting food out for raccoons, squirrels etc.). This should help rectify the problem. Thank you so much for your understanding and help with this situation.
