CHICKEN PERMITS

 

WHEREAS, chicken permits will no longer be issued as of Tuesday September 20, 2022.

THE CITY OF MAYWOOD PARK RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Under advisement from Vector Control and in order to limit rodents in the city of Maywood Park, chicken permits will no longer be issued. If a resident has already been given a permit on or before Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the resident will be grandfathered in and allowed to keep their chickens.

ALL municipal codes 6.15.010 - 6.15.080 will remain in effect.

FAILURE to renew your permit, as instructed, will result in forfeiture of your permit and "grandfather" clause.
