The draft Policy, Procedures, and Fee Schedule that are under consideration are:

Policy: Residents can request guest parking permits from the City office or the Mayor. They are valid for up to seven (7) days. Should a resident have regular guests who park on the street near their house for more than 5 consecutive days per calendar year, they may request a special parking permit from the office by completing the Application for Temporary Parking Permit per City Code 10.05.190 B. All vehicles must be legally parked. No parking permit exempts vehicle owners from illegal parking violations. (i.e. wrong way parking, blocking the right-of-way, blocking fire hydrant, etc.)

Procedures: Guest Parking Permits - Residents provide guests with a guest permit, dated up to seven (7) days from the date provided. The parking permit must be displayed on the rear-view mirror or driver’s side front dash. All vehicles must be legally parked. Resident will return the completed parking stub to the City office via hardcopy to 10100 NE Prescott Street, Suite 147, Maywood Park, OR 97220; or by PDF or jpg style photo to office@cityofmaywoodpark.com. Guest Parking Permits may be obtained from the City Office by request to the above email, or from the Mayor. Special Parking Permit – Refer to City Code 10.05.190 B

Fee: There are no fees for Guest or Special Parking Permits.
