Help organize a neighborhood watch in Maywood Park! There are opportunities for volunteers to establish street leaders responsible for touching base with their neighbors and initiate park watch plans within their block. Contact Michelle Montross @ email@example.com
The Planning Committee is responsible for making suggestions to the City Council for the City’s official plan document, zoning designations, community planning, and site design requirements, and will be exploring development opportunities at Maywood Commons.
New Resident Greeter
For many years, new residents to Maywood Park have been greeted with welcoming packets and information by Gayle Burrow. We know the difference her effort makes to our new residents, and now it’s time to pass the baton to a new greeter or a new resident committee. Keep track of homes for sale and new residents, update information and distribute to the new lucky families!
Easter Egg Hunt Event
The day of the hunt, we will need volunteers to help hide eggs starting at 9:30 am at the Commons. Immediately after the hunt, help the kiddos collect their treasures and return the plastic eggs to the boxes for next year’s fun! Contact the City office or Sarah Castor
4th Of July Committee
July kicks off a month full of exciting summer events in Maywood Park, starting with the annual 4th of July BBQ and firework display! The City is asking for volunteers for setup, clean up, fireworks, and games. This is a fun opportunity to show your spirit and serve your neighbors! Contact the City office
Garage Sale Committee
The Maywood Park Garage Sale is a popular annual summer event that draws hundreds into the City. In order to ensure that the annual tradition continues, the committee is looking to add more volunteers. Please contact Michelle Montross if you would like to donate some of your time to the event committee.
